Officer Brick Bardo is the toughest cop on the planet of Arturos, and despite being on suspension for his renegade tactics he's still stopping the criminals with his badass attitude and super-powerful handgun. Brick's superiors hate him and the media fears him, but he has bigger problems to deal with as he confronts the terrorist, named Sprug, who killed his family years ago.
As Brick pursues him through galactic space they are pulled into a dimensional wormhole, and Brick crash lands his spaceship in the middle of New York city. The ship is damaged but Brick's okay, except for the fact that on Earth he is only one foot tall in comparison to everyone else!

Brick finds himself stranded in the crime ridden neighbourhood of the South Bronx, where gangs and drug dealers are free to do what they want as they disrupt the lives of any decent people still living in the area.

Debi
We meet Debi, a young mother struggling to organize crime prevention in the city, but the police are often overwhelmed and powerless to control the amount of criminals. When Debi is assaulted in the streets, Brick comes to her rescue! His gun is so powerful that despite its small size it has the force of a normal handgun on Earth, and he blasts the goons away. It takes some explaining, but Brick and Debi become friends, and she takes him to her apartment where he can be safe.
However, one of the local gang leaders, Braxton, finds Sprug's crashed ship and the two villains decide to work together to kill the "little doll man."
Brick's going to have come up with a big plan if he wants to help Debi and survive on planet Earth!

"Urban fuckin' renewal." - Brick

The movie's aware of how silly the premise is and it keeps a sense of humour, but there are still gritty tones of film noir and street violence, letting the Dirty Harry inspiration for Brick keep everything grounded. Debi brings an emphasis on how good people must triumph over the violence of the world, but her peaceful ideas are something that Brick is having problems understanding.

Sprug
Braxton

It's fun, bloody and has a decent story with some drama. Unfortunately, there's not much budget to work with and the movie's really limited in what it can show Brick doing. Tim Thomerson is his usual awesome self, playing the hard-edge hero delivering cheesy one-liners with a twinkle in his eye, but he feels underused at times. This could have been a classic if it had enough money to give Brick more action scenarios, but it does its best with what it has and that's always the sign of a B-movie made with love.

Be sure not to miss:
- Debi's job is to sort toxic waste with her hands?? What?
- 12. That's the number of times Hector says "fuck" in one sentence. (and played by Vincent Klyn!)
- The criminal at the start is Frank Doubleday.
- Rats enough!

"It has a certain undeniable charm." - MassieTwin
