A few months later a van full of teenagers arrive at the same cabin. Jack and his friends have come to investigate the rumours of Bigfoot in the area, and to find Jack's missing uncle. Old Bill shows up, tired after hunting the monster for months, and he warns the kids that they should get to safety.
The forest is knows as Demon Woods, and the locals have been wary of the place ever since a meteor fell there decades ago, but Jack is determined to find his uncle and solve the mystery of what is happening in these woods.
It's not long before Bigfoot attacks the cabin again, killing some of the kids and disabling their vehicle. Despite having a clean shot at the beast, Jack couldn't pull the trigger, instead they just gazed into each others eyes. Jack is a confirmed idiot. The next day, Jack, Carrie and Cindy decide to walk back to town for help, but they end-up just wandering around arguing. There is some spooky tension being built, but also a fair amount of dull confusion. Bigfoot is killing a lot of random people that have nothing to do with the plot, so at least we get some brief gore and the monster looks pretty well made.
There's also a zombie strolling through the woods... Huh? Well, why not, right? It makes as much sense as anything else.
"Come on, you woolly bastard!" - Old Bill
With help from Old Bill and his dynamite traps, Jack and the girls prepare to stop Bigfoot, but they better bring an extra pair of underwear because that hairy beast is only the beginning of their problems!

Demonwarp starts with a simple premise, but slowly gets weirder and weirder until it evolves into outright craziness. The last 30 minutes takes the story in a whole new direction that I never saw coming: Bigfoot is not what he seems to be... Zombies are using computers... Human sacrifices... UFOs... And more! Yeah, things just go completely nuts at the end!
This really is a strange movie, stylistically and structurally. The lead actors aren't too bad, but the tone and skill of the delivery is muddled, giving it a student project feel, but a project that someone poured a lot of heart and soul into. It might be an absurd mess, but it's full of entertaining B-movie awkwardness that provide the laughs.
Be sure not to miss:
- Bigfoot stealing the toaster. I guess that sort-of gets explained later, but it's still hilarious to see.
- Everyone knows that Bigfoot can't resist a yellow hat.
- Remember when calculator watches were a thing?

Should I watch it?
It's worth checking out, but I wouldn't attempt it sober.
Where can I find it?
Here on YouTube.
Demonwarp gets...
