Peter,
Ready to stabilize !
When a criminal mastermind named Greg Rainmaker kidnaps an Indonesian professor to force him into making narcotics, the local cops call in special agents Peter "The Stabilizer" Goldson, and his partner, Sylvia.
Together with Captain Johnny from the police force, the plan is to rescue the professor and stabilize the dangerous drug problems by stopping Rainmaker.

Peter and Rainmaker have been long time rivals, so all sorts of henchmen and assassins start trying to kill Peter as soon as he arrives in town. Luckily, Peter knows how to survive any situation, and the body count of goons is steadily rising after just one wild car chase.
Rainmaker's right hand man, Victor, does most of the dirty work, and it's made clear that he is a dangerous and cruel man that enjoys killing.

"I hate scum like Greg Rainmaker!" - Peter

As Peter, Sylvia and Cpt. Johnny start trying to track down Rainmaker himself, they get help from the professor's daughter, Christina, who is also badass fighter. They're going to need all the friends they can get, because Rainmaker has a small army at his disposal and none of these goons want to be stabilized!!

There are some slow parts near the start, as it gets everything established, but most of the movie is full of crazy action, fights and stunts. Basically everything in sight is going to explode or get drop kicked, as our team of heroes get closer and closer to Rainmaker.
Not only is all the violence fun, it gets so wild at times that the only rational response is laughter. Especially including a few memorable scenes of over-the-top motorcycle "fighting."

The Stabilizer is pure absurdity with a lot of muscle behind it, and probably one of the best action movies that ever came from Indonesia. It borrows heavily from James Bond, but it has enough of a budget that they can legitimately create some big stunts and fights.
It's all super sloppy B movie madness, but you can't deny there's some style and flair here that creates a flavour of grit and fearless cheesiness.

Lots of this

Be sure not to miss:
- Lizards make a great snack.
- Rainmaker always wears shoes with spikes on the bottom, which means he *clip clops* everywhere he walks.
- The map to Rainmaker's hideout looks like something from a cartoon.
- The theme song rules.
