When three babies are born in the small town of Meadowvale at the same time during a total eclipse of the sun, everyone celebrates their peculiar arrival. Now, ten years later, the same children (Debbie, Steven and Curtis) are excited for their upcoming birthday party. They've also decided to start killing people!
That's right, this movie wastes no time in getting to the gritty stuff and we quickly learn that these three kids are full of evil, despite appearing like typical children to everyone.

Steven, Debbie, Curtis
The kids are efficient killers and they find devious ways to cover-up their murders to look like accidents, but the police begin to hunt for a maniac in town as the body count steadily rises. The only people to suspect that the trio might be dangerous is their schoolmate Timmy, and eventually his older sister, Joyce.
Amidst all the killings, Debbie, Steven and Curtis are still planning their big birthday party, and what's a party without a little murder?

There's a very weird vibe here, with some good scenes of suspense and creepiness, but also a peculiarity to the premise that generates laughs at watching the kids be evil. Despite coming across as ruthless killers they still retain their childlike sense of wonderment, so it's a mixed bag of ideas going on, but it mostly works.

There isn't much blood or violence, and instead of going for traditional horror the movie just wants to play with the unique and strange idea of having kids be the villains. It's the type of movie that would never get made today and I found this whimsical and flippant perverseness to be quite fun, so despite there not being a lot of depth to the plot it's a fun romp that moves at a fast pace.

Be sure not to miss:
- An open grave is as good a place as any to make-out.
- A 10 year old getting whacked in the face with a lamp is surprisingly funny.
- Michael Dudikoff makes a small appearance. Unfortunately, he doesn't karate chop any kids.

Internet review:
"Sure it's cheesy, but that's part of what makes it so great." - JSG
