Riker
In the near future, cyborgs are used in daily life to help humans with various tasks, but now an evil scientist named Z has created a drug that he uses to "mutate" the cyborgs into his own personal army of sex-crazed killing machines!
Darla, a scientist that was working for Z against her will, goes to a mercenary named Matt Riker for help. Riker may be a pro at stopping defective cyborgs but he's going to need back-up in dealing with Z's mutated machines, so he recruits a few of his friends to help him.
There's Elaine, a sexy bounty hunter, and Felix, an expert fighter; and they're both eager to help Riker and Darla destroy the killer cyborgs that are now wandering the city.

To raise the stakes even higher, another evil scientist named Domina gets involved. She also wants to bring down Z, but only so that she can have the most powerful cyborgs in the world under her control.

"Total carnage, uncontrolled fury. What more could anyone ask for?" - Z

Despite a few muddled sections, the movie is constantly building momentum and giving us plenty of wonky fight scenes and cyborg action. There are even some good twists along the way to help invigorate what would otherwise be a very formulaic plot. There's an attempt at a Bladerunner vibe but of course it has a flavour of total cheese instead, complete with many guitar solos.

It's really an ensemble cast, and each character adds something new to the story, with Riker and his team working hard to thwart the evil plans of the two villains.
The cyborgs just look like dudes with sunglasses on at first, but we get to see plenty of their mechanical insides as they get ripped apart and/or mutated. The special effects are really fun and creative even though they lack the skill of a big budget.

Z and his cyborgs

I was totally hooked the whole way through, because this movie delivers good energy and the perfect mix of being both brilliant and awkward at the same time. There's a lot to love here for fans of B movie thrills.

Pictures don't do this justice

Be sure not to miss:
- Some choice graffiti... "Death may be your Santa Claus."
- Length of the scene where Riker has to fight in his underwear: 2:40
- I'd like to know more about those "space shuttle sex murders" that get mentioned.

Internet review:
"This is definitely high-level B-Movie watching." - Silveremulsion
