How did I not find this movie long ago!? It's up there with some of the best 80's beach trash that a person can find. The small amount of plot that does exist is mostly your standard beach adventure, but there's also a threat of doom from an uptight politician who has clearly forgotten what the spirit of partying is truly about.

There's lots of music to be heard, but it all fits into the party vibe quite well. My main complaint would be the montage intermission of beach activities. There's a scene for weight lifting, boxing, wet t-shirts, and the classic banana eating contest. The jokes are fine enough, but it drags on for a bit too long before we get back to the main characters.

As you would assume, there's half naked babes no matter where you look, but the men are equally on display as they pump iron and strut around in speedos. But the real star of the show is beer! There is beer everywhere in this movie. Almost every single scene has someone drinking, spilling or showering each other with beer.
The extended beach shenanigans aside, all of this hot action makes it a great date movie, as the tagline itself suggests... "Like it’s really, totally, the most fun a couple of bodies can have."
