Billy Batson is the sleaziest guy on campus and his main goal in life is to sleep with every girl in school, so I wasn't bothered when he dies in a car crash within the first ten minutes. Unfortunately, Billy comes back as a ghost, and instead of following the guardian spirit of his uncle into heaven, Billy decides to go back to school so that he can continue his attempts at sleeping with the most popular girl on campus, Judith.

Billy's ghostly powers allow him to turn invisible whenever he wants, and since he uses these powers to peep on girls and sexually harass Judith, all I was feeling was contempt for Billy. The movie is trying for comedy, with the usual hijinks and the strict President Grimshaw always yelling at Billy, but the humour never works.
Instead of a plot there's just a bunch of stuff happening and if any of it fits together as a story it's by accident. Eventually, the school begins preparing for a big "Hog Day"celebration, and Billy starts falling in love with another girl, an exchange student named Madeleine. Just like the botched attempts at comedy, the romance here also fails to charm me.

However, the uncle is an even bigger pervert than Billy is, and in one of the most bizarre scenes ever we watch as he molests a girl with his filthy ghost hands. What the hell !?

The only thing that kept me awake was watching the movie careen headfirst into lunacy, without worrying about good taste or narrative, which means I was entertained only by the worst ways possible.
Be sure not to miss:
- The giant inflatable pig was the best part, by a large margin.
- The Hog Day celebration is never explained. They just like pigs for some reason.
- Liz Sheridan has a cameo.
