Harley and Marlboro are two middle-aged bikers that have a rough and free vagabond lifestyle, but we get the sense that the years on the road are starting to catch-up with them. Although they're growing jaded and weary, they've still got the vigor and style needed to get themselves out of any trouble that they find.

The two friends are reuniting at their favourite bar in L.A. where the staff is the closest thing they have to family. The owner has bad news though, because he has to sell the land to a large corporate bank unless he can pay $2.5 million. Harley gets an idea to steal the money from an armored bank truck, and Marlboro has no choice but to agree with the crazy plan.

Marlboro  and  Harley

Chance Wilder
Not afraid to get their hands dirty, the heist goes as planned except for one important detail; instead of money they find themselves with a large quantity of an illegal street drug called crystal dream!
The bank's CEO is a sleazeball named Chance Wilder, who's obviously into some shady dealings, and he sends a team of expert security guards to get his drugs back.

Harley and Marlboro attempt a peaceful trade with the bank, but it's not long before they realize that Chance is an evil criminal and he's not going to let them get away with messing in his affairs.

On the run for their lives, our two anti-heroes have no idea what to do except fight back. Against all the odds they'll try to win, but can they bring down an entire corporation before their luck runs out?

"If being alive means living on the run, then I don't want it." - Marlboro

The general tone of the movie is action and adventure with a heavy influence from the western genre. It's fast paced and fun, but the strongest point is definitely the great characters, and Rourke and Johnson are perfect casting.

These two desperadoes have depth and a certain pathos that keeps them feeling like real men, now longing to settle down and retire from the road. It really establishes their weariness of the tough life they've regrettably made for themselves, which adds some bittersweet introspection to the adventure.
Although nowhere near as profound as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, it is referenced here, and both are about the friendship between two men looking for redemption.

Bank security
Unfortunately, the villains are boring as hell. Tom Sizemore gets very little to do, and the security force just comes across as goofy and unimaginative.
Despite some missed opportunities, it's still lot of fun if you want to watch a classic late 80s, early 90s type of action movie that you might have overlooked.

Be sure not to miss:
- Lots of familiar faces in small roles, notably Robert Ginty, Giancarlo Esposito and Julius Harris.
- A billboard advertising the movie "Die Hardest 5"
- The bar has a biplane sticking out of the roof. A newspaper article on the wall reads, "Plane crashes bar, Pilot makes happy hour."
- Set in the "future" of 1996, for no reason.

Internet review:
"I am sure you will have a great time and maybe even more fun with a bit of alcohol." - slimebitch

Should I watch it?
It's good fun, especially if you're a fan of Rourke and Johnson.
