Part 1: "Julie"
Chad Foster seems like an average college guy, but once he becomes infatuated with his shy literature professor, Julie, his dark side is revealed. Chad begins to obsess about her and when he convinces Julie to go the drive-in with him, he drugs her and takes nude photos of her. The next day, Chad begins using the photos to torment and blackmail her, but it seems that Julie is one step ahead of him.

Part 2: "Millicent and Therese"
Millicent and Therese are twin sisters that could not be more opposite. While Millicent is a conservative prude, Therese is a vivacious rebel that dabbles in Satanism and the occult. Millicent has had enough of her sister's wild nature, and since the family doctor is doing nothing to control Therese, she decides its time to plan some murderous witchcraft of her own!
Part 3: "Amelia"
Amelia has bought a zuni hunting fetish doll for her boyfriend's birthday, and although she finds the little doll and its mystical history quite creepy, she knows that it will make a great gift. When she accidentally breaks the seal that was keeping the doll's spirit trapped, it comes alive and begins to viciously attack her with it's razor sharp teeth and little spear!! It's as crazy, macabre and hilarious as you can imagine!
Although the third story is the most memorable because of the superbly insane battle between Amelia and the killer doll, the first one is as solid as a classic episode of The Twilight Zone. The second story is the weakest, with barely anything to keep me interested.
The run time is definitely padded with filler, but Karen Black is great in every scene and this really showcases her wide range of talent. Despite being a made-for-TV movie, the production is high quality and has aged surprisingly well. The final 15 minutes are what make this anthology so notable, and that alone earns the score an extra half ham.
Be sure not to miss:
- Two root beers for $1. I'll take ten.
- Richard Matheson helped with each story, and was famous for his work on The Twilight Zone.

"One of the finer TV horror efforts you’ll come across." - Pattee
