Susan
The movie begins with Sandy and her fiancé, as they drive through the Nevada desert at night. Lost and tired, they stop at a spooky little town called Ellivnatas, but instead of finding hospitality they meet a Satanic cult and are murdered in an evil ritual!
Well, at least I think that's what happens, the first 15 minutes are so freaking dark it's hard to see much of anything!

Sandy's twin, Susan, lives in Las Vegas, and she senses that something terrible has happened to her sister, so she jumps in her car and drives into the desert to discover what ill fate her sister has met.
Susan begins searching the countryside for the town of Ellivnatas, which doesn't appear on any map. The local sheriff isn't much help but she does make friends with a hunk named Dan, who has knowledge of the back-roads and offers to be her guide.
Night descends on the desert, and goddammit, once again I can't see anything!

Dan
The middle of the movie is mostly just Susan driving around in the dirt, looking for clues and trying to convince the skeptical locals that something weird is happening in the desert. Thankfully, most of this happens during the day, so we can actually see what is happening.
The third act is when Susan finds the mysterious town of Ellivnatas. She is promptly captured by the cult, of course, but she's not going without a fight and it's time for her to kick some Satanic butt! And she even does it in her panties!
Susan's great escape really picks-up the pace with violence, a car chase, and she even stops to have a shower.... Wait, what!?
(Susan has a few pointless showers throughout.)

Although the ridiculous title is loosely based on a line of dialog in the script, it contradicts the more serious tone presented here. It feels like a sloppy homage to the 1970's desert movies, and that vibe works well in this setting. It creates a sense of isolation and dread out in the wide expanses of dust, as Susan desperately tries to understand how her sister disappeared.

Welcome to Ellivnatas

The movie gets a bit more bonkers near the end when the action spices things up, but otherwise it's very straightforward and doesn't offer much in the way of originality. It is still entertaining as a low-budget "Satanists in the desert" type of movie, but it was 15 years too late to leave its mark on the genre.

Be sure not to miss:
- Ellivnatas backwards... Well, at least it sounds better than Nilbog.
- The last line of the movie made me laugh a lot more than it should have.

Internet review:
"lol one billion porn films on the net and you are jerking too this movie." - fredSavage
