Billy
Billy Harper is the singer in a popular rock band, but one night he snaps and begins killing the engineer and producers at the studio! His band mate Lynn barely escapes with her with life, as the police arrive to stop Billy.
With the most awkward time jump ever it is now two years later and Billy has been executed for the murders, leaving Lynn as the leader of his old band.

Lynn's busy preparing for a big Rocktober tour, but she's terrified when Billy mysteriously appears backstage to scare her! He begins to haunt her everywhere she goes, like some spooky stalker. No one believes Lynn when she tries to explain that Billy is back, but she's convinced he's returned from the grave to kill her.

Lynn
It seems that Lynn's fears have some validity to them, as Billy truly has come back and he eventually starts killing Lynn's friends! Some suspense is being built on the exact nature of Billy's return, but everything is moving along real slow. Most of the movie is variations of Lynn getting chased through the dark, and her friends just assuming she's gone crazy.
Security is doubled for the big concert, but Billy still appears and he and Lynn confront each other on stage while the band rocks out. There's a plot twist that actually surprised me because it was not the one I was expecting.
That aside, this movie has the worst ending because it literally stops right in the middle of a scene. Freeze frame! Roll credits! Throw T.V. out window!

This is a prime example of inept filmmakers ruining an idea that seems foolproof. There's hardly any killings and just slightly more rock n' roll, so the two main concepts feel deflated. It also takes itself much too seriously when it clearly should be full blown camp. Many scenes consist of Lynn walking around in the dark or having bubble baths. Sometimes Billy is lurking around, but more often than not he is absent from much of the movie.

While the murders feels rather uninspired, the cheesy acting and a few fun moments when humour sneaks into the picture kept me interested enough.
The soundtrack and live music is performed by Sorcery, and the rockin' tunes are easily the most note worthy aspect of the entire production.

Be sure not to miss:
- It's 1984, there's never a bad time for aerobics or the jacuzzi.
- The googly-eyed skeleton in the coffin is a lame and hilarious attempt at a real corpse.

Internet review:
"It's hard to believe actual human beings made this, because it appeared as if this was produced by wild apes." - American Samurai

Should I watch it?
It's not all terrible, it's just average.
